LIBROSEAMALAYThe Seamalay massage is an ancient massage ritual that has its origins in Indonesia, specifically in the NorthEast of the island of Sumatra, where you will find the city of Medan and Lhokseumawe, overlooking the Sea Malay. Developed probably around the first century AD was called massage queens, and the legend says that it was intended for concubines who were not chosen to spend  the night with the king.
The Seamalay is a deep treatment, which moves slowly repeated several times on the body of the  recipient procure a state of deep relaxation: like other Oriental massage techniques is based on  the assumption that, through the body, we can rebalance the whole individual: his mind, his soul his ego.
Seamalay In fact , wellness is not something that sometimes occurs , but rather a continuous  movement towards harmony , balance and integrity of body, mind and spirit.
It is reported the favorable effect on the emotional sphere : a greater mental balance , increased self-confidence and taking a more  active and positive attitude towards life . The structure of the Seamalay reminiscent of those of Indian Yantra Yantra is a Sanskrit term  that means different types of geometric representations of the shape simple or more complex and symbolic diagrams , used as an aid  in concentration or to facilitate the absorption of meditation , the so-called ” samadhi ” not surprisingly, many of those who have tried  the Seamalay , described him as ” a meditative experience .” In fact, the Malay Sea is a ritual work with effects related to meditation  and  energy, rather than the physical plane.
The first phase of the massage is deeply ritual : with maneuvers by the character slow and repetitive , are drawn on the body of the  recipient of the geometric figures is charged symbolism . As one Indian Yantra , you define sacred spaces , you draw lines, circles , spirals …
Buddhists recognize , however, that the Yantra – holy symbol , graphic , mathematics and magic of the divine – can only be mental  images drawn with colored sands only serve to create in the mind the true and Yantra are consecrated only for the period during which  is used for religious services , which finished , the Yantra is simply ” destroyed ” , sweeping away the sand of which it is composed . This gesture wants to remember the transience of things and rebirth , being the destructive force , a force that gives life.
Ideally , even  in the Malay Sea , after being ” drawn” on the surface, the skin, and transmitted in depth, absorbed and re-created in the mind of the  recipient, the Yantra is ” destroyed.”
In the second phase , maneuvers reunification body bunched what geometrical figures had separated , split in two: what before had  split up , now is met , the movements are long, the figures are parallel or crossed : the higher blends with the lower the right with the  left  .
The Seamalay is a treatment that stands out for maneuvers , duration and location of the recipient.
The pace is slow , repetitive, almost hypnotic : the operator , with a slow chain of 39 motions , awaken dormant energies , harmonize  imbalances , combining what has separated .
And ‘ no doubt that the number of scan Seamalay can somehow get our attention : the structure rests on 39 movements , usually  repeated 3 times or multiples of 3 and, if this situation does not occur , we find that the number is 4 .
The number 1 is the absolute, the action
The number 2 is the duality , the yin and yang , male and female
The number 3 is given by 2 +1 and is the perfection , the balance achieved , the creation
The number 4 is the earth, the manifestation of the material plane with its temporal and spatial limits
The number 8 represents infinity
The Zero is the circle , God
There are those who dwelt also on the number 39. In addition to a multiple of 3 , 39 suggests the formula (10 +3) x 3 , where 10  indicates the end of a cycle and the beginning of the next combined with the 3 that represents man as the object of creation. The  number 39 would suggest at this point Seamalay the potential of helping the individual to live the cycles of existence.
The legs and feet , perhaps as a result of Muslim culture that conquered Indonesia, they are not treated , as they are considered  impure because in contact with the ground.
At the end of the treatment, a delicate and refined work to the face

Upon his arrival in the West, Seamalay has undergone many changes and you can sometimes find different versions depending on  the  operator.
Many times they are not considered the numbers, actually extremely important, often, however, it was decided to replace the  maneuvers a bit more intimate (perianal area) motions brought in the equivalent of the buttocks.
This massage is just the feminine universe, but sometimes it can also be claimed by men, but it will be necessary, in this case, a  complete hair removal, especially in the gluteal area, back and chest.
The Seamalay massage lasts about 50/60 minutes and it is preferable to precede it with a deep cleaning of the body (the  recommended method Mandj Lulur)
